How to Get to Tynavon

1. Proceed to Hwy. 401 Westbound. 2. Take 401 West to Guelph Line, Exit #312 -- that's one exit past Road 25 to Milton / Acton. Exit at Guelph Line and bear to your right. 3. Take Guelph Line (also Halton Road 1) north until you come to the set of stoplights at Hwy. 7 near Rockwood. This is approximately 18 kilometres up Guelph Line and about a 15-minute drive. You will know you are getting close when you encounter a stop sign at the crossroads with the Erin – Halton Hills Town Line (there will be signs indicating the way to Eden Mills, Rockwood and Hwy. Continue through the stop sign. After a short, winding stretch of road you will come to Hwy. 7 and the stoplight. 4. Turn left onto Hwy. 7 and continue west until you reach the next stoplight at Wellington County Road 29 -- this is approximately 2.5
kilometres. 5. Turn right onto Wellington County Road 29 and head north until it ends at a T-intersection, the junction with Wellington County Road 18. This is again approximately 20 kilometres. Along the route, you will encounter 1 stoplight at Route 124 (the former Hwy 24) and head straight to County Road 18. 6. Once you reach the T-intersection, turn left and head west on County Road 18 into Fergus. County Road 18 will also be known as Belsyde Road once you enter Fergus. 7. At the first set of stoplights (Scotland Street) turn right and head north. Cross the bridge over the Grand River. 8.
Immediately after the bridge turn left onto St. Andrews Street E. You will be heading west. St. Andrews Street is the main street and will take you through downtown Fergus. St. Andrews Street
becomes Mill Street in Elora, where Tynavon is located. 9. Head out of Fergus and continue along St. Andrews St. until you reach Elora. You will encounter the first stoplight in Elora at Mary Street. Go to the next street, Queen Street and turn right. Our parking area is located off of Queen Street. It will be the 2nd driveway on your left.
1. Proceed to Hwy. 401, Eastbound. 2. Take Hwy. 401 East to Hwy. 6 North (exit. #295) towards Guelph. Follow signs for Hwy. 6 North through the City of Guelph and out of town heading toward Fergus. 3. Approximately a 5-minute drive out of Guelph, a sign will appear for Wellington County Road #7 toward Elora. Turn left onto Wellington County Road 7. 4. Take County Road 7 directly into Elora, approximately a 15-minute drive. 5. Once you enter the town you will reach a stoplight at County Road 23/McNab Street. Turn right at the stoplight. You will immediately encounter a stop sign with directional arrows pointing down the hill to “Fergus / Mill Street / Downtown”. Follow the road down the hill and cross the bridge over the Grand River. 6. Immediately after the bridge you will encounter a stoplight at the corner of Mill and Metcalfe Streets. Turn right onto Mill Street. 7. Tynavon is located 4 blocks down Mill Street on the north (left side) of the street, between Chalmers and Queen Streets. Our parking area is located off of Queen Street. It will be the 2nd driveway on your left.
1. From Buffalo, cross the border. 2. Proceed to the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) heading WEST, toward Toronto. After about ½ hour to 45 minutes on the QEW, cross a large bridge over Burlington Bay, called the Burlington Skyway. Once you’ve crossed the Skyway, start looking for signs indicating Hwy. 403 West to Hamilton / Brantford. Take the exit for Hwy. 403 West. You do NOT want to stay on the QEW Toronto. You also do NOT want to get on Hwy. 407. 3. Once on Hwy. 403 West toward Hamilton, start looking for signs indicating Hwy. 6 North to Guelph. It is approximately 7 kms from the QEW to the Hwy. 6 North exit. Keep to the right and the exit for Hwy. 6 North. 4. Travel on Hwy. 6 North for approximately 1 hour. Note: After about 30 minutes into this stretch, you will come to Hwy. 401. The signs may indicate that, to continue of Hwy. 6 North, you should head West on Hwy. 401. Do not take Hwy. 401. 5. Hwy. 6 North, will now be called Wellington County Road 46. It will then turn into Gordon Street as you enter Guelph. The road changes names a number of times in Guelph but continue straight on this road through the downtown and out of the city. As you are exiting Guelph, you will reconnect with Hwy. 6 North heading toward Fergus at Woodlawn Road. 6. Approximately a 5-minute drive out of Guelph on Hwy. 6 North, a sign will appear for Wellington County Road #7 toward Elora. Turn left onto Wellington County Road 7. 7. Take County Road 7 directly into Elora, approximately a 15-minute drive. 8. Once you enter the town you will reach a stoplight at County Road 23/ McNab Street. Turn right at the stoplight.
